Disgrifiad
This was a Welsh-language lecture (with simultaneous translation) delivered as part of Aberystwyth University's programme at the National Eisteddfod 2018 at Cardiff. Held at the Senedd, the lecture drew on data collected by WISERD Civil Society WP1.3, which will be pubilshed in 'Population, Space and Place' in early 2019. The presentation drew on literature which problematised the Welsh self-perception of being a 'tolerant nation', and outlined the context of European migration to Wales before proceeding to introduce empirical data drawn from interviews about EU migrants' experiences of the 2016 referendum and its aftermath. The paper concluded with some questions about the challenges facing cohesion in the near future.Cyfnod | 07 Awst 2018 |
