Disgrifiad
Drawing on Tunnicliffe’s autobiographical writings, both published and unpublished, this talk explores the painter-printmaker’s upbringing on a Cheshire farm (as captured in his early etchings), his studies in London, his marriage to a fellow art student, and his later life on Anglesey. Vast and diverse, Tunnicliffe’s output invites us to reflect on the relationships between – and our attitudes towards – town and country, nature and culture, as well as art and commerce.Cyfnod | 19 Ion 2022 |
