Proffil

Judith is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and has been a lecturer at Aberystwyth since 2024. Judith has a wealth of experience in teaching having held lecturing posts at Bangor University and Arden University since 2015 alongside clinical practice in NHS settings. Judith's areas of expertise include behaviour change and rehabilitative interventions across the lifespan, with a special interest in anxiety disorders and the development of evidence based interventions. 

Diddordebau ymchwil

Judith gained a PhD in 2012 and the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2013, both from Bangor University. Judith's research activity has focused on the neuropsychology of aging, neurorehabilitation, and therapeutic approaches in both older adults and people with learning disabilities. Judith has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research projects since 2015 and is proficient in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies across a range of topics related to clinical psychology.

Dysgu

Judith is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and currently supports teaching on qualitative research methods, child language: development and assessment, health psychology and foundations of counselling.
