Crynodeb

A comparison is made between the use of thermoluminescence and infrared stimulated luminescence for determining the equivalent dose of sedimentary potassium feldspars. Results are presented for a suite of dune sands from raised marine terraces in south-west North Island, New Zealand. With the exception of a modern dune sand the two methods yield very similar results in spite of the differences in the nature of the signals measured by the two methods.
