Critical Success factors of Facility Management Outsourcing: Contextual Analysis of Clients and Service Providers in Abu Dhabi

This paper aims to highlight the success factors of facility management in the UAE including the relationship of selected factors with the success of facility management. The study was conducted in Abu Dhabi to enlist the critical success factors for the success of facility management from the perspective of clients and the service providers. This paper contains results of a survey conducted by using a quantitative survey questionnaire. This study adopted quantitative research methodology where a sample of ten respondents was selected by using convenient sampling method. The respondents of this study were invited through a participant information letter and they were informed about the topic and purpose of this study as well as requested for voluntary participation in this study. They were also provided with a consent form and requested to confirm their participation by signing the consent from. Findings included in this paper are from the data collected from those who they confirmed their participation after reading participation information letter. According to the ethical commitment, the researchers have not included any personal information of the respondents in this paper. The findings show that there is a positive and significant relationship between four independent variables of the study with dependent variable. The results confirm that according to the perspective of respondents of this study competence, adequacy, coordination, and quality are critical for the success of facility management.
