Crynodeb

This paper examines the use of social media, especially Twitter, by British and Norwegian health authorities during the Ebola crisis. It identifies that use of the micro-blogging site differed between the two countries, but that neither exploited or realised fully the dialogical nature of social media. Instead the use was largely within existing paradighms of emergency communication.
