N2 - The following article examines and interrogates the assumed pre-eminence of face-to-face pedagogy, exploring the creative possibilities made available with the introduction of video, pre-recorded instructions and photography as modes of transmission for movement. The opening strategies for the research emerged from concerns with dissemination, preservation and documentation focused specifically on the migration of research materials towards a web-based platform. In a first stage, an installation was developed that supported remote points of engagement anticipated by the absence of a central figure to guide. This article identifies a significant turning point in the research in terms of online migration, which prompted a reassessment of the carefully designed installation as a pedagogical tool concerned with creative engagement and the transmission of movement.
