Crynodeb
Goth subculture has a considerably diverse, but instantly identifiable aesthetic that screams something uncanny to its onlookers. Within its dark diversity, there has been an intensification of the ‘Geisha Goth’ style. But why? The superficial similarities between the geisha and the goth are apparent: The pale countenance, the contrasting theatrical make-up, heightened footwear by which to hover, and a meticulously formidable pinnacle of black entangled hair sculpture. But, conveyed in this chapter is the suggestion that the aesthetic sympathy between the two spectre-like, sublime creatures goes much, much deeper.
