Crynodeb

This paper aimed at showing how the nationalist press in Weimar Germany reacted to European integration's attempts in the inter-war period. It focuses especially on the reactions against Briand's plan of 1929. Analysing these reactions the author intends to show what kind of arguments nationalists used against this project. The article aims also at showing how unresolved questions of post-war settlements constituted a dangerous weakness for every attempt of reaching a climate of international cooperation and understanding.
