Description
A one-day workshop with a networking evening dinner, funded by the BBSRC & National Research Network (NRN), to stimulate research in anthelmintic discovery within Wales. The aims of this workshop were to: •Bring together chemists, biologist and parasitologists based in Wales to initiate research collaborations in anthelmintic discovery •Build a new consortium for parasite drug discovery lead by researchers in Wales •Engage national and international animal & human health industry and stakeholders in parasite drug discovery and development. Hosted by IBERS Aberystwyth University with funds awarded by Ser Cymru Endeavour fund via the Life Sciences Research Network Wales.| Period | 15 Sept 2014 |
