Description
Meeting between farmers and researchers discussing the use of heritage oat varieties and how varieties are developed and tested, recovery of genes unavailable in modern plant breeding by the use of landraces, the use of mixtures to provide more resilience to local environmental conditions and whether the recommended list system is fit for purpose, particularly for the needs of organic agriculture which all resulted in considerable discussion and plans for new research activities and funding proposals.Period | 2018 |
