Cymerau Cynulliad y Gwanwyn | Spring Gathering

Description

This Public-facing event took place in the Aberystwyth area and was an opportunity for public dissemination of part of my commissioned film 'Edafedd Dwr'. The film explores the relationship between farmers and two local rivers. The film takes the format of a documentary, interspersed with artistic sequences of performative, or sculptural content. The film asks questions about the influences of environmental policy on farming lives, and seeks to extrapolate the views, concerns and understandings of the farmers themselves about their relationship with the landscape that the work with and in. The event included a formal introduction and questions from the audience.
