"Throughout 2014 BBSRC-funded researchers toured the UK with exciting and engaging exhibitions. This culminated in November 2014 when BBSRC researchers showcased the best of British bioscience at the Great British Bioscience Festival in London's Bethnal Green, attracting over 6,500 visitors.The festival provided an excellent opportunity to showcase cutting-edge bioscience to the community of Bethnal Green and beyond, it generated support for bioscience and developed researchers' experience and confidence in public engagement."
