Visit of 2 journalists who write for the Irish Farmers Journal and 2 researchers from UCD, Ireland. The aim was to showcase the IBERS breeding program for its success in bringing the best varieties to the Irish market and to discuss the current output of the grass breeding program i.e. seasonal yield, quality with further discussion on future targets such as improved lipid content and improved magnesium content and the use of genomics in grass breeding and the potential of this in grass and clover breeding.Period | 2017 |
