Professor Michael Woods and Dr Jesse Heley (Aberystwyth University) have contributed to this collaboration to organise a session on 'Rural Citizenship and Civil Society' at the International Geographical Congress in Dublin, August 2024. Our contribution has been to the formulation and drafting of the session proposal. The proposed session results directly from the reported award activities as a mechanism for continuing UK-Ireland exchange and engage a wider range of international participants in developing a research agenda in this area.
