An outline of the breeding work was presented to Tina Barsby (NIAB director) John Gilliland, David Gardner (RASE) and Alastair Grizzell (Map of Agriculture in relation to the Practice with Science Award which was set up to recognise applied scientific work that has resulted in valuable benefits to the agricultural industry, particularly in relation to on-farm practices. Detail was presented on the current projects contributing to the breeding programme. IBERS was a runner-up.Period | 2015 |
