The aim of this workshop is to provide participants with an understanding of the current Research, Impact and Innovation Landscape and examples of how they can support researchers in undertaking key activities.

• Examining strategies to get current and future projects noticed and funded
• Shifts in the research and policy landscape - research assessments, national and international funding landscapes
• Innovation in research funding calls
• Engaging with key funding streams for researchers in Wales
• Understanding the purpose of Narrative CVs
• Developing and submitting grant applications, undertaking research projects, effective publication strategies & research-related career progression
