    Colleagues from the Department of Life Sciences and I assisted to the career event organised at at Penglais high school on 08 Feb 2024. We brought parasite specimens, microscopes, and computers to explain high school students the activities developed by scientists. We did not only speak about our own areas of expertise in the field of molecular parasitology, but expanded the discussion about future careers in Science. The main aim of the activity was to engage students in the scientific methods of interrogating reality.
