Featured prominently in a documentary: Swissair Flight 100 was operated by Douglas DC-8 HB-IDD "Nidwalden." The aircraft was hijacked by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine on September 6, 1970, and flown to Zarqa, Jordan. The passengers were held hostage. The incident became known as the Desert Hostage Crisis.
