Text of post: 'So it is now proven beyond doubt that the great stones that were used to construct Stonehenge were brought there all the way from Wales. Ironically, more than 800 years ago, the Welsh chronicler Giraldus Cambrensis wrote that Stonehenge was reputed to have been brought from near Naas, Co. Kildare, where it was known as the Giant’s Dance. Interestingly, there are a number of stone circles in east Kildare and neighbouring west Wicklow known as the Piper’s Stones.'
