Profile

I joined the School of Veterinary Science at Aberystwyth University as a Lecturer of Veterinary Science in January, 2024.

I graduated as a veterinarian from the University of Bristol in 2010, before joining a practice in Cardigan, West Wales, where I worked as a mixed animal vet for 7 years. I mainly worked with dairy clients and developed a keen interest in preventative farm animal medicine. In 2017, I moved to work as a non-clinical vet at a practice in Haverfordwest, where I was responsible for preventative health planning and farmer training. In 2020, I started a PhD at Aberystwyth University, researching the early detection of disease in ruminants using precision livestock farming technologies.
