Greg is currently on Research Leave. He will not be returning to teach until semester 2 of the 2024-25 academic year.

I came to the Department of Theatre, Film & Television Studies at Aberystwyth University in 2012, after teaching at both Salford and Manchester Metropolitan Universities. I am a senior lecturer in film and media practice, and have held numerous roles in the department including Degree Scheme Coordinator and Chair of the Examination Board. I am a practice researcher, professional videographer and filmmaker, and have produced work for TV and online broadcast, as well as independent organizations and businesses.

Research interests

I am interested primarily in documentary film in relation to authorship, language, voice and texture.
