Liam is a third-year PhD student in the Solar System Physics research group supervised by Dr. Huw Morgan and Dr. Matt Gunn. Funded by the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, his research currently consists of:

  • Visible-light polarisation imagery of the December 14th 2020 total solar eclipse in South America
  • Using 3-D density maps gained by tomography of the solar corona to investigate the rotational nature of the corona itself
