After gaining a BA in Welsh from Cardiff University, Mandi Morse went on to train as a Welsh teacher and taught Welsh and Drama in a number of schools before joining the government in 2002 to work in the translation and editing sector. She was an Editing Manager in the Curriculum and Assessment department for a number of years. As a freelance translator, Mandi also translated and edited books for children and adults. In addition to this, she also spent a period of time developing, commissioning and editing Welsh for Adults' national resources with CBAC.
More recently, she was a Welsh Lecturer at the Hywel Teifi Academy in Swansea University, coordinating and teaching translation modules and mastering language skills modules at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level.
