Research Development Officer in IBERS, and the administrator for the interdisciplinary Rural Futures Hub.

A background in Biological Sciences, including a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Biology, a PGCE in Balanced Sciences, and awarded a PhD entitled “Monitoring microbial bioprocesses for metabolite concentrations using Raman spectroscopy” from Aberystwyth University. 

I have worked on a number of research projects including as a project manager for an EU funded Interreg project, CUPHAT, which was an interdisciplinary project based in the Geography department. I have also worked as a research assistant on a number of projects in the Business department, including the Economic Impact Assessment of the Radio Spectrum project and the Impact of Covid on households and businesses in Ceredigion.

I have also supported undergraduate and masters students, as a study skills support tutor, in the university Student Support Department over a period of 15 years.
