Profile
Before joining the School of Education, Susan taught English in mid Wales and in Bradford. She currently teaches undergraduate modules specialising in language and literacy.
Research interests
Susan’s research interests include diversifying the curriculum and creativity in English. She also collaborates with colleagues on aspects of curriculum and pedagogy in Wales including projects on children's perception of cynefin and on developing currere in Wales. She works with teachers, supporting practice-based research. She is a co-convenor of the UKLA SIG on particpatory research.
