Biodiversity Collaboration Agreement - Svalbard

Basecamp Research Ltd (BCR) wishes to collaborate with Arwyn Edwards to conduct sampling of microbial habitats on Svalbard. In collaboration, BCR and AU will collect and agreed number of samples subject to access and benefits sharing permissions in Svalbard, for which the DNA and associated metadata will be sent to BCR. BCR and AU may also collaborate in academic scientific research projects and co-publishing of results. BCR is interested in supporting a 3 year programme of research, with the first schedule of research in September 2026.
