Developing integrated ecology to combat Malaria in Zambia and control emerging vector borne diseases in Wales.

Funding will cover the genetic characterisation of mosquitos to help control persistent malaria in Zambia. An Aberystwyth University group will deliver training to Zambian colleagues in molecular approaches for ongoing study and will receive training in vector surveillance methods that can be implemented in Wales to control emerging zoonotic threats.
