Storytelling and Forced Migration: A Welsh Pathway to Peace

We will use the LSW grant to facilitate a creative workshop drawing a variety of experts, in the field of migration, trauma, peace and storytelling, to develop best practice of digital storytelling as a method of peace promotion within Welsh communities. During the project, emphasis will be upon the value of storytelling for minority communities, significance for the Welsh nation of sanctuary, and the centrality of storytelling for peace promotion in Wales. The workshop will offer a creative practical element, employing the use of digital storytelling as a method to create a pilot digital story.
