Abstract

Specimens of herbaceous lycophytes from the Zwickau coalfield are redescribed, together with new epidermal details. They are assigned to (Göppert), (Geinitz) and (Halle) and new diagnoses given. The recognition of a third double rank of small ventral leaves leads the case for including them in a new sub-genus of the extant genus Beauvoir named and diagnosed here as
