Abstract
In this article, Forsyth explores some of the personal, professional, socio-historical and political dimensions behind the often marked and protracted periods when Arthur Miller refrained from writing about the Holocaust despite his own oft cited pronounced belief that the duty of a writer is to be a rememberer.
