Abstract
In this paper we introduce MacroArray Quantifier (MAQ), a bioinfomatics solution for analysis of gene expression data and contribution for genome annotation from macroarrays. It aims to be a simple, but effective, tool that does not require the user to have previous knowledge in image processing. We also describe the implementation of the several methods involved in each step of the analysis of macroarray images.
