Abstract

Surprising, moving, funny and disturbing, each of the ten plays in this volume explores our desire to communicate in the age of Covid-19 through video calls and social media. The plays were commissioned by the Argentine Association of Translators and Interpreters and the Diploma in Dramaturgy of the Centro Cultural Paco Urondo. They were then translated by teams working in the UK, Argentina, and Venezuela as part of the Argentine and British collaboration Exploring Theatre Translation. Here they are, reunited by a strong connection at last, the original plays and their translations.
