Die Rolle (laien)linguistischer Mythen bei der Reproduktion (sozio-)linguistischer Normen

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

This chapter argues that some widespread and deeply rooted beliefs about languages(s) are better described as ‘myths’ and reflect ideological positions rather than any objective linguistic facts. Amongst the terms which are subjected to an ideological critique are ‘mother tongue’, ‘language mixing’, and ‘authenticity’.
