Abstract
A contemporary scholarly edition of the interwar correspondence between Carneddog and Gwallter Llyfni, including critical introduction and detailed explanatory notes. This volume adds to our understanding of the phenomena of the rural Welsh autodidact and opens a new field in modern Welsh criticism namely, the cultural significance of the ‘letter’ form.
