Abstract

This case study presents some hypothetical use cases for digital preservation activities that focus on the needs of researchers in big data analyses at academic libraries in Jordan. This case study builds on preliminary work on preservation at the University of Jordan library. The digital preservation process there mainly concerns the preservation of theses and dissertations in the University of Jordan digital repository. Challenges include different practices in research data management among the universities contributing to the repository.
