Abstract

Axisymmetric plastic flow of a piecewise homogeneous material consisting of two components through an infinite converging channel is considered. Each component is supposed to be rigid/perfectly plastic. Assuming that the ratio of the yield stresses is given, the influence of friction at the channel wall and at the bi-material interface on the position of this interface is studied.
