Abstract
This chapter has been written by the author as invited by the editor of the book entitled 'Handbook for informal learning - interdisciplinary and international perspectives'. In this chapter, the concept of informal learning was discussed and then Bangladeshi contexts of informal learning were presented along with the challenges and prospects.
