Abstract

This was a performed essay which was delivered with the aid of PowerPoint slides consisted of an autobiographical account of the subject's experience of farming,with an analysis of the relationship between boders, specific social and cultural identities, and farming. It contrasted the landscape and practices of dairy farming in west Wales with the landscape of Mynydd Epynt in Powys, an area which was cleared in 1940 to be redeployed as a military firing range.
