Research output: Non-textual formExhibition

Abstract

This exhibition showcases the work of Welsh photographer Angus McBean (1904-1990) in advertising, his commissioned portraits, and his annual Christmas cards. It offers glimpses of McBean’s private life, holidaying on the continent and portraits of McBean at home, in later life, by the contemporary photographer Robert Greetham. Most of the work on display was purchased for the School of Art collection with the aid of grants from the Art Fund and V&A Purchase Grant schemes. The exhibition was co-curated with students enrolled in the undergraduate module ‘Curating an Exhibition’.
