Abstract
These ice-proximal glaciofluvial gravels have given luminescence ages of 45 ± 4 and 37 ± 4 ka BP. The gravels were laid down by meltwater draining from an ice margin in the Moray Firth and provide the first firm evidence of extensive glaciation in NE Scotland during the Mid Devensian. -from Authors
