Abstract

In this contribution to the ongoing early discussions about mobile \nand personal projectors we assess the state of the art using our \ngrounding in previous user-centred work in urban environments, \nvirtual heritage and museums. From this assessment we isolate the \nprojector phone as a uniquely interesting new device and put \nforward a series of discussion points relating to three key \nconceptual issues of projector phone applications. In order to \ndrive the discussion further we also suggest two innovative \napplications for the projector phone that expand the existing \napplication domain into interesting new areas.
