Abstract
A digitally augmented lunar atlas for the amateur astronomer, utilizing the original 1960's era photographic images from previous editions overlaid with computer visualisations to enhance the detail. The computer visualisations were based upon rendering of the NASA LRO LOLA experiment terrain dataset using inhouse software developed by the author to cope with the lunar photmetric function, and the vast size of the dataset. In addition chapters have been added to explain the processing techques involved, advanced observing technques for amateur astronomers, and time sequence visualisations of sunrise/set over several selected lunar features. This atlas is a mirror of the "Hatfield Lunar Atlas - Digitally Remastered" to cater for modern SCT type telescopes that produce mirror image views of the Moon.
