Abstract

The Editorial Board of the Journal of Transport and Health welcomes the opportunity to endorse and publicise the Melbourne Declaration, which adheres closely to the evidence published by the journal over the past decade. We urge readers to use the Melbourne Declaration in their work of knowledge exchange with policy-makers, practitioners, and NGOs in their regions, to help ensure that research published in this journal is useful, useable, and used in practice and does not remain enclosed in ‘ivory towers’.
