N2 - This essay examines the political philosophies of Kant and Marx. While recognizing their differences, it analyses certain shared topics between them; namely, the idea of critique, problems related to freedom, equality, human improvement, and cosmopolitanism. The study concludes with an evaluation of contrasts and suggests the lessons that can be extracted from the comparative analysis of these two thinkers.
