Abstract
Published as part of the BFI’s ‘British Screen Stories’ series this book, written by Science Museum Group Deputy Head of Research, Scott Anthony, is a detailed, well-illustrated, and engaging study of propaganda film. Anthony has also written a history of the GPO Film Unit (2012) and a detailed analysis of the classic interwar documentary, Night Mail (Harry Watt and Basil Wright, 1936).
