Abstract
Mae Welsh in Twelve Weeks yn gwrs Cymraeg hunanastudio sy'n cyflwyno'r dysgwr i eirfa hanfodol a phrif feysydd gramadegol Cymraeg. Esbonnir cystrawennau yn glir, ac mae'r drefn y cyflwynir popeth yn ystyried yr angen am gynnydd cyflym. Rhennir pob wythnos o'r cwrs yn saith is-adran neu wersi, a thrwy hynny ddarparu awr astudio y dydd i'r dysgwr am ddeuddeg wythnos. Canllaw bras yn unig yw hwn, a dim ond cymaint ag y teimlir y gellir ei wneud ar y tro y dylid ei wneud, gan mai'r dysgwr ei hunan yw'r barnwr gorau ar gymathu deunydd newydd. Ar ôl ymdrin â'r mwyafrif o bwyntiau gramadegol, mae yna ymarferion i roi'r hyn y mae'r dysgwr wedi ei ddysgu ar waith. Gellir dod o hyd i'r atebion i'r holl ymarferion mewn allwedd ar ddiwedd y llyfr.
Welsh in Twelve Weeks is a self study Welsh course thatt introduces the learner to the essential vocabulary and main grammatical areas of Welsh. Constructions are clearly explained, and the order in which everything is presented takes into consideration the need for rapid progress. Each week of the course is divided into seven subsections or lessons, thereby providing the learner with an hour of study per day for twelve weeks. This is just a rough guide, and one should only do as much as you feel capable of doing at a time, as the learner himself/herself is the best judge of assimilating new material. After most grammatical points have been covered, there are exercises to put what the learner has learnt into practice. The answers to all the exercises can be found in a key at the end of the book.
